Public IP

Feature that refers to a unique IP address assigned to a computing resource (such as a server, database or service) within a cloud network that is accessible from the Internet. Unlike a private IP address, which is used for communications within a local area network (LAN), a public IP address is visible and accessible from any other network. This means that a resource with a public IP address can be reached directly from the Internet, subject to security and firewall configurations.
